Welcome to Miwi Connections

Miwi is a Ngarrindjeri language word that describes the cultural wisdom, strength, intuition and sixth sense that is embodied in all Aboriginal people. It connect us to life and those who become before us. It is a cultural way of knowing and feeling that cannot be attained through non-Indigenous way of knowing, learning, doing and being. It harnesses the ancestral strength and wisdom of our people that all Aboriginal people possess through their Miwi which connects and guides us.

Our Aboriginal ancestral lines are strong and are always connected to the core of our existence, through our bloodlines and in our culture where we are culturally safe, nurtured and strong, Our mimini  (women) are the bearers of life and nutrure future generations through the cultural ways and knowledge that has been passed, which permeates through our Miwi in our connectedness and all we do.

As four strong Aboriginal matriarchs of multiple nations we are all connected and our Miwi are strong. This will be epitomised in all we are and is representative in our drive and passion to support all Indigenous people through Miwi Connections.
